Nutrition Tips: Health Resolutions that Stick

  1. Pursue daily progress not perfection. Perfection isn’t fun and isn’t possible. Put one foot in front of the other each day. Those steps turn into miles and you’ll enjoy the process and the progress that it creates.
  1. Lose the all-in or nothing mindset and you’ll be more forgiving of yourself when you make mistakes and more likely to get back on track quickly.
  1. Establish a “Learner’s Mentality.” Think of this as a journey and not a set of strict guidelines. Learn and try something new often.
  1. Focus on your exercise and nutrition HABITS. All too often we believe we need a magic plan that yields results. What we should be concentrating on are putting habits in place, 1 at a time, that support a plan. Plans fade, habits stick.
  1. Create green, yellow, and red light foods lists. Green = Go, Yellow = Slow, and Red = No. When you have “cheats and treats” target items from the yellow list and avoid triggering foods from the red list that challenge your self control.
  1. Establish your support system. We can’t do it alone. Get your family on board. Find a circle of friends who can act as accountability partners. Hire a professional to guide you.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold three (3) times per calendar year for up to three (3) consecutive weeks. Advanced notice of at least five (5) business days is required. The hold must be between 14-21 days in duration and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, we ask that you make drop in payments for classes you would like to attend.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
